Late Morning: Arrive in Haridwar and check-in at hotel, freshen up for local sightseeing.

Sightseeing in Haridwar:

  • Mansa Devi Temple: Reach via ropeway to seek blessings and enjoy panoramic views.
  • Chandi Devi Temple: Located on Neel Parvat, accessible by cable car or trek.
  • Bharat Mata Mandir: A multi-storey temple dedicated to Mother India, representing unity in diversity.
  • Shanti Kunj: A peaceful spiritual center of the Gayatri Pariwar for meditation and learning.
  • Har Ki Pauri: Witness the divine Ganga Aarti in the evening, a magical spiritual experience by the riverbank.

Evening: Explore local markets or enjoy riverside walk.

Day 2: Haridwar to Sonprayag – Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then depart from Haridwar for Sonprayag (approx. 8–9 hour drive, 235 km) via NH7 through the majestic Garhwal Himalayas; Note: If Haridwar sightseeing was not done on Day 1, visit Har Ki Pauri (sacred Ganga ghat), Mansa Devi Temple (via ropeway), and Chandi Devi Temple in the morning; En route sightseeing: In Rishikesh, explore Triveni Ghat, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Sivananda Ashram; stop at Dharidevi Temple (Goddess Kali shrine on the Alaknanda River near Srinagar) for blessings and scenic views; witness river confluences at Devprayag (Alaknanda + Bhagirathi = Ganga) and Rudraprayag (Alaknanda + Mandakini); Evening: Arrive and check-in at hotel in Sonprayag. Sonprayag to Tungnath to Chopta

Day 5: Sonprayag to Chopta via Tungnath and Chandrashila – Depart from Sonprayag after breakfast for a scenic drive to Chopta (approx. 3–4 hrs, 100 km) via Guptkashi and Ukhimath; en route visit Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath (winter seat of Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar deities) and enjoy views of the Mandakini Valley and Himalayan hamlets; upon arrival at Chopta, begin 3.5 km trek to Tungnath Temple (world’s highest Shiva temple at 3,680 m), followed by 1.5 km further ascent to Chandrashila Peak (4,000 m) for breathtaking 360° Himalayan views including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba peaks; return to ChoptaEvening: Enjoy peaceful forest surroundings, nature walks, and optional bonfire (weather permitting); Dinner:Overnight Stay: Chopta.
