Day1

Haridwar to Sonprayag

Sitapur/Sonprayag

Day 1: Haridwar to Sonprayag

Morning: Depart from Haridwar for Sonprayag (approx. 8–9 hour drive, 235 km) via NH7 through the majestic Garhwal Himalayas.

En Route Sightseeing:

Har Ki Pauri: Sacred Ganga ghat in Haridwar.
Mansa Devi Temple: Reach via ropeway for divine blessings.
Chandi Devi Temple: Scenic temple atop Neel Parvat.
Rishikesh Highlights: Triveni Ghat, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Sivananda Ashram.
Dharidevi Temple: Goddess Kali shrine on Alaknanda River near Srinagar, stop for spiritual blessings and scenic views.
Devprayag: Confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi forming the Ganga.
Rudraprayag: Confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.

Evening: Arrive and check-in at hotel in Sonprayag; enjoy dinner.

Day2

Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Day 2: Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Morning: Optional breakfast at Sonprayag, then travel to Gaurikund (approx. 6 km by road) and commence the 16 km trek to Kedarnath through scenic Himalayan terrain filled with chants and devotion.

Sightseeing in Kedarnath:

Kedarnath Temple: One of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
Bhairav Temple: Located near Kedarnath Temple, known for guarding the valley.

Evening: Attend the divine evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple, immerse in spiritual vibrations, and enjoy dinner.

Day3

Kedarnath to Sonprayag

Day 3: Kedarnath to Sonprayag

Morning: Breakfast followed by attending the peaceful morning Aarti at Kedarnath Temple amidst Himalayan serenity.

Late Morning: Begin descent via 16 km trek to Gaurikund, followed by drive to Sonprayag.

Afternoon: Rest and rejuvenate at the hotel after the trek.

Evening (Optional): If time and energy permit, visit the sacred Triyuginarayan Temple – believed to be the divine wedding site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Note: If not covered today, visit can be done next morning before onward travel.

Dinner: Night meal served at hotel.

Day4

Sonprayag to Tungnath to Chopta

Chopta for Tungnath Trek

Day 4: Sonprayag to Chopta via Tungnath and Chandrashila

Depart from Sonprayag after breakfast for a scenic drive to Chopta (approx. 3–4 hrs, 100 km) via Guptkashi and Ukhimath; en route visit Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath (winter seat of Kedarnath and Madhyamaheshwar deities) and enjoy views of the Mandakini Valley and Himalayan hamlets.

Upon arrival at Chopta, begin 3.5 km trek to Tungnath Temple (world’s highest Shiva temple at 3,680 m), followed by 1.5 km further ascent to Chandrashila Peak (4,000 m) for breathtaking 360° Himalayan views including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba peaks; return to Chopta, check-in at camp/cottage and relax.

Evening: Enjoy peaceful forest surroundings, nature walks, and optional bonfire (weather permitting).

Day5

Chopta to Badrinath

Day 5: Chopta to Badrinath

Morning: Breakfast; depart from Chopta to Badrinath (180 km / 7–8 hrs) via Joshimath; en route visit Narasimha Temple, Shankaracharya Math, and Vishnuprayag (Alaknanda + Dhauliganga confluence).

In Badrinath visit Badrinath Temple, Tapt Kund, Brahma Kapal, then explore Mana Village including Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul on Saraswati River, River Origin, and Charan Paduka; return to hotel for rest.

Evening: Attend divine Evening Aarti at temple, explore local markets, visit Neelkanth Peak Viewpoint and Mata Murti Temple.

Dinner: Served at hotel.

Day6

Badrinath to Haridwar

Day 6: Badrinath to Haridwar

Morning: Breakfast and depart from Badrinath for Haridwar via Joshimath and all five Panch Prayag; en route visit Narasimha Temple (Lord Badrinath’s winter abode) and Shankaracharya Math in Joshimath.

Continue through Garhwal Himalayas stopping at confluences: Vishnuprayag (Alaknanda + Dhauliganga), Nandprayag (Alaknanda + Nandakini), Karnaprayag (Alaknanda + Pindar), Rudraprayag (Alaknanda + Mandakini), Devprayag (Alaknanda + Bhagirathi = Ganga); also visit Dhari Devi Temple (protector goddess of Char Dham Yatra) on Alaknanda River.

Enjoy scenic ride through pine valleys and Himalayan towns; arrive in Haridwar by evening, attend divine Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri and conclude with drop-off at your location.
