Day-wise itinerary

- Morning: Depart from Delhi
- Start your journey from Delhi at 6:00 AM. The drive takes around 7-8 hours (350-370 km). Alternatively, take the Shatabdi Express to Kalka (6-7 hours), then board the Toy Train to Shimla (5-6 hours), enjoying the scenic route.
- Afternoon: Arrival in Shimla
- Check into your hotel (The Oberoi Cecil, Willow Banks, or similar). Relax after your long journey. Enjoy lunch at the hotel or a nearby café. Try local dishes like Siddu, Chana Madra, and Rogan Josh.
- Evening: Mall Road & The Ridge
- Explore Mall Road, which is Shimla\\\\\\\'s main shopping street, known for its woolens, wooden handicrafts, and local artifacts. Visit The Ridge for panoramic views, stop by Christ Church and Gaiety Theatre, and take a walk to Scandal Point.
- Dinner:
- Dine at Café Shimla Times, Indian Coffee House, or other popular local restaurants offering Himachali and continental cuisine.
- Morning: Jakhoo Temple
- Start your day early with a visit to Jakhoo Temple, located on Shimla’s highest point (2,455 meters). The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Hike to the temple or take a taxi.
- Explore Lakkar Bazaar nearby for wooden handicrafts and souvenirs.
- Late Morning: Shimla State Museum
- Head to the Shimla State Museum, located 3 km from The Ridge. The museum showcases Himachali art, culture, and history, with beautiful views of the town and mountains.
- Lunch:
- Lunch at Café Sol or Oberoi Cecil, offering Himachali delicacies and beautiful views of the valley.
- Afternoon: Kufri or Fagu
- In the afternoon, head to Kufri (16 km away) for adventure activities like skiing (in winter), go-karting, ice skating, and tobogganing. Alternatively, visit Fagu (23 km away) for a peaceful escape amidst apple orchards and pine forests.
- Evening: Summer Hill
- Visit Summer Hill (5 km away) for a peaceful walk in the pine forests and to enjoy panoramic views of Shimla. It’s an ideal spot for relaxation and photography.
- Dinner:
- Dine at Café Shimla Times, Café Sol, or any other cozy restaurant serving Himachali food and continental dishes.
- Morning: Mashobra
- Drive to Mashobra (12 km from Shimla), a quieter hill station known for its apple orchards and serene nature. Visit the Reserve Forest Sanctuary or simply relax amidst the peaceful surroundings. You can also enjoy a nature walk or explore nearby hiking trails.
- Late Morning: Naldehra
- Head to Naldehra (22 km from Shimla), known for its famous golf course and picturesque views. Naldehra also offers a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for photography and nature walks. Visit Mahasu Peak for a panoramic view of the region.
- Lunch:
- Enjoy lunch at a local café or restaurant in Mashobra or Naldehra, offering delicious Himachali meals.
- Afternoon: Return to Shimla
- After lunch, drive back to Shimla. You can take a short break on the way and enjoy the cool, crisp air of the mountains.
- Evening: Leisure Time
- Relax in Shimla, either at your hotel or by strolling around Mall Road. You can shop for souvenirs or simply unwind at a café.
- Dinner:
- Have dinner at a local restaurant like Café Shimla Times or Ashiana Restaurant in The Oberoi Cecil for an elegant meal.
- Morning: Chail
- Start the day with a visit to Chail (45 km from Shimla). Explore the Chail Palace, the highest cricket ground in the world, and the Sidh Baba Ka Mandir. Chail offers a tranquil atmosphere and beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys.
- Explore the peaceful surroundings of Chail, including nature walks and local markets.
- Lunch:
- Enjoy lunch at a local café or restaurant in Chail, offering Himachali and North Indian cuisine.
- Afternoon: Kaithu
- On your way back to Shimla, stop at Kaithu village, a serene spot near Shimla. Visit the Kaithu Temple and explore the village’s scenic surroundings.
- Evening: Return to Shimla
- Return to Shimla in the late afternoon or early evening. Relax or explore the town at your leisure.
- Dinner:
- Have dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel. Enjoy Himachali specialities like Dham (rice dish) and Patande (pancake).
- Morning: Leisure in Shimla
- Spend your last morning in Shimla at leisure. Visit places like Kali Bari Temple, Shimla Reserve Forest Sanctuary, or simply enjoy the view from your hotel.
- Take a slow walk around Shimla’s quiet lanes, breathe in the fresh air, and savor the final moments of your trip.
- Late Morning: Last-Minute Shopping
- Visit Lakkar Bazaar or Mall Road for last-minute shopping. Purchase wooden handicrafts, woolens, and local souvenirs to take back home.
- Lunch:
- Have lunch at Café Sol or Café Shimla Times, where you can enjoy light snacks or a full meal.
- Afternoon: Departure
- Depart from Shimla by 2:00 PM. If traveling by road, the drive to Delhi takes around 7-8 hours. Alternatively, you can take the toy train to Kalka and board the Shatabdi Express to Delhi.
- Evening: Arrive in Delhi
- You will arrive back in Delhi in the evening (if by car or bus) or early the following morning (if by train).

- Booking amount plan: pay the booking confirmation amount now, 70% of the total at pickup, and the remaining balance (30% minus the booking amount) on the last day before you return from the hills.
- PhonePe EMI: pay the full amount on PhonePe and convert it to EMI on your credit/debit card or cardless EMI — tenure and interest are set by your bank.
- All payments are processed securely through PhonePe. You receive a PDF schedule with every due date.
