Day-wise Itinerary

Day1

Day 1 – Ujjain Arrival & Mahakaleshwar Darshan

Ujjain

Day 1: Arrive at Ujjain via train/road in the morning and get picked up from the station or your preferred location. Check-in at hotel and freshen up. Visit the sacred Shree Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and optionally attend or pre-book the famous Bhasma Aarti (early morning slots). Explore Ujjain’s rich spiritual heritage by visiting Harsiddhi Mata Temple with its ancient deep stambh (lamp pillars), take blessings at Kal Bhairav Temple where devotees offer liquor, visit Mangalnath Temple (believed to be the birthplace of Mars), and Sandipani Ashram where Lord Krishna is said to have studied. Conclude your day with a peaceful evening aarti at Ram Ghat on the banks of Shipra River. Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Ujjain.

Day2

Day 2 – Ujjain to Omkareshwar Jyotirling Darshan

Day 2: After an early breakfast and hotel checkout, drive to Omkareshwar Jyotirling, located around 140 km from Ujjain (approx. 3.5 hours). On arrival, check-in and proceed to visit the holy Omkareshwar Temple situated on the serene Mandhata Island, which is naturally shaped like the sacred\'Om\' symbol. Explore the Mamleshwar Temple across the bridge – also revered as part of the jyotirling pair. Take the Omkar Parikrama path (about 7 km) around the island for spiritual merit. Visit other sacred spots like Gauri Somnath Temple (housing a massive shivling) and the Siddhanath Temple known for its detailed architecture. Optional: Enjoy a scenic boat ride in the holy Narmada River and attend the evening Narmada aarti on the ghats. Overnight stay in Omkareshwar.

Day3

Day 3 – Omkareshwar to Ujjain/Indore Return

Day 3: After breakfast, enjoy a peaceful morning walk near the Narmada Ghat or visit the temple one last time for darshan. Check out from hotel and begin your return journey to Ujjain or Indore as per your drop plan. En route, stop for local lunch or to shop for Omkareshwar souvenirs such as Rudraksha malas or temple idols. Reach Ujjain or Indore by late afternoon or evening and get dropped at your desired location – railway station, airport, or hotel. The yatra concludes with divine blessings of Lord Shiva – completing darshan of both Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar Jyotirlingas
