Day-wise Itinerary

Day1

Delhi to Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra

Depart from Delhi early in the morning (around 6:00 AM). Travel to Kurukshetra (Approx. 3-hour drive, 160 km). Arrive in Kurukshetra by mid-morning. Visit Brahma Sarovar, a sacred water tank known for its religious significance and beautiful surroundings. Explore the Kurukshetra Panorama & Science Centre, where you can learn about the history of Kurukshetra and enjoy interactive exhibits. Visit Sthaneshwar Mahadev Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its tranquil ambiance. Check-in at your hotel and relax. Afterward, visit Jyotisar, the birthplace of the Bhagavad Gita, where you can explore the scenic garden and the ancient banyan tree under which Lord Krishna is believed to have imparted his teachings. If time permits, visit Bhagavad Gita Temple, dedicated to the teachings of the Gita, and enjoy its beautiful architecture. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Kurukshetra to Amritsar

Have an early breakfast and check out from the hotel. Depart for Amritsar (Approx. 6-hour drive, 350 km). Arrive in Amritsar by early afternoon. Check-in at your hotel. Afternoon: Visit the Golden Temple, the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism, where you can participate in the community kitchen (Langar) and experience the serene ambiance. Explore the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, a historical site commemorating the 1919 massacre, and learn about its significance through the exhibits. Visit the Partition Museum to understand the impact of the partition on the lives of people in Punjab. Evening: Head to Wagah Border to witness the Beating Retreat ceremony, a daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan perform at the border. After the ceremony, enjoy local Amritsari cuisine at a nearby restaurant. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.\\r\\n

Amritsar to Delhi

Drop at Delhi

Have breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Durgiana Temple, a Hindu temple resembling the Golden Temple. Explore the Gobindgarh Fort, a historic fort with cultural exhibits. Visit the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum. Check out from the hotel and have lunch. Depart for Delhi (Approx. 7-hour drive, 450 km). Arrive in Delhi by late evening.
