Day 1: Delhi to Shimla

Morning: Begin your journey from Delhi at around 6:00 AM. This early start will help you avoid the city traffic and make the most of your day. Stop at a highway dhaba for breakfast, where you can enjoy popular dishes like parathas or chole-bhature.

Afternoon: Continue your drive towards Shimla, passing through scenic towns like Solan and Kasauli. Take a break for lunch in one of these towns. You’ll notice the landscape change as you approach Shimla, with lush greenery and beautiful hill views.

Evening: Arrive in Shimla by the evening and check in to your hotel. After refreshing yourself, head to the famous Mall Road for some light shopping and sightseeing. Visit The Ridge and Christ Church for a taste of Shimla’s colonial charm. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, trying out some Himachali dishes like siddu or dal makhani.

Morning: After breakfast, begin your day by visiting the Jakhoo Temple. Located at the highest point in Shimla, the temple offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Shimla town. You can either hike up or take a taxi.

Afternoon: Next, drive to Kufri, a popular hill station about 16 km from Shimla. In the winter, Kufri becomes a skiing destination, but during the rest of the year, you can enjoy activities like go-karting and horse riding. From Kufri, head to the picturesque villages of Fagu and Naldehra, where you can enjoy quiet walks and admire apple orchards and views of the valley.

Evening: Return to Shimla and explore Mall Road for shopping. Here, you can buy woolen clothes, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant offering Himachali cuisine.

Morning: Check out from your hotel in Shimla and begin the scenic drive to Manali. The distance between Shimla and Manali is about 250 km, and the journey takes around 7-9 hours. Enjoy the stunning views of the Kullu Valley as you approach your destination.

Afternoon: Take breaks for lunch at local dhabas along the way, especially in towns like Mandi or Kullu. The route is beautiful, so be sure to take some photo stops along the way.

Evening: Arrive in Manali by evening. After check-in, relax and get comfortable in your hotel. If you have the energy, head out to explore Mall Road for its lively atmosphere and variety of cafés, shops, and eateries. You can also enjoy local Tibetan food like momos and thukpa.

Afternoon: Proceed towards Kasol, a village in the Parvati Valley that has become a hub for trekkers and backpackers.
