Day-wise Itinerary
Day1
Day 1: Chandigarh to Manali – Arrival & Local Exploration

Manali

Morning: Depart from Chandigarh early at 6:00 AM to Manali. The scenic drive is about 7-8 hours (310 km). Youll pass through Bilaspur, Mandi, and Kullu, offering views of the Beas River and lush mountains. Afternoon: Arrive in Manali by 2:00 PM, check i%27n to your hotel, and rest after your journey. Late Afternoon: Visit Mall Road in Manali for shopping and exploring local handicrafts like Kullu shawls, woolens, and souvenirs. Take a stroll to Old Manali for its peaceful atmosphere. Dinner: Try Himachali delicacies like Siddu (steamed dumplings) or opt for a more familiar dish at one of the local cafés such as Café 1947 or Johnson’s Café.

Day2
Day 2: Solang Valley – Adventure Activities & Rohtang Pass (Seasonal)

Manali

Morning: After breakfast, head to Solang Valley, 14 km from Manali, where you can enjoy adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding (in winter), paragliding, and zorbing (in summer). The valley offers stunning views of the mountains. Lunch: Have lunch at a café in Solang Valley, like The Solang Valley Café, which offers great food with scenic views. Afternoon: Drive to Rohtang Pass (51 km), a high-altitude pass at 3,978 meters. The road to Rohtang Pass is open seasonally (May to November). Here, enjoy snow activities (in winter) like sledging and snowboarding. You need a permit to visit Rohtang, which can be arranged online or via the hotel. Evening: Return to Manali, stopping by the Hidimba Devi Temple, an ancient temple surrounded by deodar trees, dedicated to Hidimba, a character from the Mahabharata. Dinner: Enjoy dinner at Café Meraki or Chopsticks Restaurant, offering a mix of Himachali and international cuisines.

Day3
Day 3: Naggar Castle, Kullu Valley & Adventure Activities

Manali

Morning: After breakfast, take a scenic drive to Naggar Castle, located 20 km from Manali. This medieval castle offers stunning views of the Kullu Valley and snow-capped peaks. Visit the Naggar Art Gallery, showcasing the works of Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Naggar Castle Café, known for its excellent food and breathtaking views of the valley. Kasol is famous for its scenic beauty and laid-back vibe, with charming riverside cafés and beautiful trekking routes. Enjoy the scenic drive alongside the Beas River. Late Morning: Explore Kasol village, visit the Parvati River, and take a walk through the peaceful streets lined with small shops selling woolens and handicrafts. Lunch: Stop at a riverside café like Jim Morrison Café or The Evergreen Café, offering Israeli-inspired meals, which are quite popular here. Afternoon: Continue to Manikaran, located 30 minutes from Kasol, where you can visit the famous Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, take a dip in the healing hot springs, and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Day 5: Return to Chandigarh

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Manali and begin the journey back to Chandigarh. The drive will take approximately 7-8 hours (310 km), so it\\\'s best to leave early to reach by evening. Optional Stop: You can stop at Kullu or Manikaran for quick visits or shopping along the way. Lunch: Enjoy a lunch break at a roadside café during the journey. Evening: Arrive in Chandigarh by 7:00 PM, bringing the 5-day trip to an end.
