Day 1
Day 1: Haridwar to Sonprayag

Accommodation: Sitapur/Sonprayag

Depart from Haridwar early in the morning (around 6 AM) by cab or bus. Enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains, with beautiful views of the Ganges and surrounding landscapes.

Haridwar Sightseeing (Before Departure):

  • Visit Har Ki Pauri for the morning Ganga Aarti.
  • Explore Mansa Devi Temple via cable car for a panoramic view.

Rishikesh Sightseeing (En Route):

  • Stop at Triveni Ghat for a spiritual experience.
  • Visit Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula, iconic suspension bridges.
  • Explore the Beatles Ashram for a peaceful retreat.

Stop for lunch at a roadside dhaba on the way (approx. 6-8 hours drive, 220 km). Continue your journey, passing through towns like Rishikesh and Uttarkashi.

Arrive in Sonprayag and check into your accommodation. Take some time to relax and explore the local area. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Day 2: Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Have breakfast at your accommodation. Depart for Gaurikund (5 km), the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath. Begin your 16 km trek to Kedarnath (approximately 6-8 hours). Day 3: Kedarnath to Sonprayag

Accommodation: Sitapur/Sonprayag

After breakfast, start your return trek to Gaurikund. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and take in the fresh mountain air. Upon reaching Gaurikund, take a cab back to Sonprayag. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the local area. You may visit nearby attractions or rest at your accommodation. Day 4
Day 4: Sonprayag to Badrinath

Accommodation: Badrinath

After breakfast, check out and depart for Badrinath (approximately 200 km, 7-8 hours drive). Enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains. Arrive in Badrinath and check into your accommodation. Visit the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and take a dip in the Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring believed to have healing properties. Explore Mana Village, the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border, and visit Vyas Gufa (the cave of sage Vedavyasa). Have dinner at a local restaurant or your accommodation. Day 5: Badrinath to Haridwar

Accommodation: Drop to Haridwar

After breakfast, check out from your accommodation. Visit any remaining local attractions in Badrinath or take a final dip in the Tapt Kund.

  • Stop at the sacred Vishnuprayag, where the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers meet.
  • Pay respects at the revered Dhari Devi Temple, located on the banks of the Alaknanda River.
