Afternoon: Continue your journey to Sonprayag, stopping for lunch at a roadside dhaba to enjoy local cuisine. Early Morning: After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath (5 km from Sonprayag). Trekking to Kedarnath: Begin your trek, which is about 16 km and can take approximately 6-8 hours. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Ponies and palanquins are available for hire if needed. At Kedarnath: Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Spend time in prayer and meditation, and take a dip in the sacred Mandakini River.
