Day 1
Day 1: Haridwar to Sonprayag

Accommodation: Sitapur/Sonprayag

Morning: Start your journey early from Haridwar after a hearty breakfast. The drive to Sonprayag is approximately 220 km and can take around 8-9 hours depending on road conditions. On the Way: Stop at the Dhari Devi Temple near Srinagar, dedicated to Goddess Dhari Devi, the protector of the Kedarnath region. Enjoy the breathtaking views and spend some time for darshan. Afternoon: Continue your journey to Sonprayag, stopping for lunch at a roadside dhaba to enjoy local cuisine. Evening: Arrive in Sonprayag, check into your hotel or guesthouse, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night, preparing for the trek to Kedarnath the next day.

Day 2
Day 2: Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Accommodation: Near Temple Kedarnath

Day 2: Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Early Morning: After an early breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath (5 km from Sonprayag). Trekking to Kedarnath: Begin your trek, which is about 16 km and can take approximately 6-8 hours. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Ponies and palanquins are available for hire if needed. At Kedarnath: Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Spend time in prayer and meditation, and take a dip in the sacred Mandakini River. Evening: Check into a local guesthouse or dharamshala for the night, enjoy dinner, and rest in the serene environment of Kedarnath.

Day 3: Kedarnath to Sonprayag

Morning: After breakfast, trek back to Gaurikund, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. Return to Sonprayag: Once you reach Gaurikund, drive back to Sonprayag to collect your belongings. Evening: Check into your accommodation in Sonprayag, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night, preparing for the journey to Chopta the next day.

Morning: After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and drive to Chopta, which is approximately 30 km away (1-2 hours drive). Chopta Exploration: Spend some time in Chopta to enjoy the serene environment and take photographs of the picturesque landscapes. Afternoon: Begin your trek to Tungnath, which is about 4 km from Chopta and typically takes 2-3 hours. The trail is relatively easy and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. At Tungnath: Visit the Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Optional Trek: If you’re up for it, continue trekking to Chandrashila, about 1 km from Tungnath, for breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. Morning: After breakfast, check out from your accommodation in Chopta and begin your journey back to Haridwar, which is approximately 200 km away (8-9 hours drive). On the Way: Stop at scenic spots like Rudraprayag and Devprayag, where you can witness the con fluence of rivers and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Evening: Arrive in Haridwar, concluding your trip with a visit to the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a perfect way to end your spiritual journey. After the aarti, you can have dinner at a local restaurant before heading to your accommodation or onward destination.
