Day 1
Mumbai to Lonavala & Khandala

Accommodation: Lonavala

Day 1: Mumbai to Lonavala & Khandala

  • Morning: Depart from Mumbai early in the morning. Stop at Tiger Point for stunning valley views. Visit Bhushi Dam for a relaxed nature walk.
  • Afternoon: Explore the Lonavala Wax Museum. Visit Karla Caves for some history and stunning architecture.
  • Evening: Head to Khandala (a 10-15 min drive from Lonavala) for sunset views from Rajmachi Point. Return to Lonavala for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Lonavala to Matheran

Accommodation: Matheran

Day 2: Lonavala to Matheran

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive towards Matheran (about 2-2.5 hours from Lonavala). Park your car at Dasturi Naka and take a toy train or walk to Matheran (vehicles are not allowed inside Matheran).
  • Afternoon: Explore Charlotte Lake for peaceful nature views. Visit Louisa Point for panoramic views of the valley.
  • Evening: Stroll through the Matheran Market for some shopping and local snacks. Overnight stay at a hotel or resort in Matheran.

Matheran to Mumbai
