Day 1
Day 1: Delhi to Shimla – Arrival & Local Sightseeing

Accommodation: Shimla

  • Morning: Depart from Delhi
    • Leave by 6:00 AM for a road trip or opt for a train (Shatabdi Express) to Kalka and then the Kalka-Shimla Toy Train.
    • Road trip takes 7-8 hours, covering 350-370 km. Breaks can be taken at Solan or Kalka.
  • Afternoon: Arrival in Shimla
    • Check-in at the hotel (Willow Banks, Oberoi Cecil, or similar).
    • Lunch at a local restaurant or hotel (try Himachali dishes like Siddu, Chana Madra).
  • Evening: Mall Road & The Ridge
